All you do, is put your thawed boneless chicken breasts in the crockpot topped with your favorite BBQ sauce on high (with the lid on) for 3 hours. You can use as much BBQ sauce as you want. I think I only used a half a container of BBQ sauce for ours, but you can certainly use more if you want more BBQ flavor.
Then you shred the chicken
Then you put the shredded chicken back into the crockpot for another hour on warm (or low, depending on your crockpot)
You can use any kind of BBQ sauce that you like. I just to happen to really like the Kraft Mesquite smoke.
Then you just serve it and enjoy!
See, so easy! I love easy crockpot meals!
Oh, just in case you are wondering, I used 2 pieces of boneless chicken breasts probably close to a pound and it fed me, my husband, my 3 year old and 14 month old (who happened to eat more than my 3 year old) and we still had left overs. But we did only eat one sandwich each. Just thought that might be some good information for ya! I need to remember this recipe next time I need to make a meal for somebody!
